Makayla & Andrea
Born and raised in Vicenza, Italy, Andrea discovered his passion for cooking in his family's restaurant, learning treasured recipes from his Nonna. At 22, he moved to Australia and began his career as a Chef de Partie in regional NSW, going on to work across fine dining and modern Australian restaurants in Victoria, finishing as Executive Chef before taking the leap to run Gnocchi by RiGO full time.
Alongside Andrea is his partner, Makayla, a lifelong food lover who is deeply rooted in the realms of entrepreneurship and photography. Bold and zealous, she is both his biggest supporter and most trusted taste tester. Andrea is a creative genius in the kitchen and Makayla is a powerhouse when it comes to eating, so together, they're a match made in heaven.
